UNISA Storytelling Festival and Conference on Reading Promotion and Storytelling for Children
UNISA promotes children’s literature and reading in it’s second Storytelling Festival and Conference:

Award-winning author Lesley Beake does not spend all her time writing for children. She is also the Editor/Manager of the Kalahari People’s Network website which was recently the Runner-up in the Highway Africa New Media Awards 2010, NGO category. The judges commented: “This website provides a virtual space for networking and exchange of information among contemporary Kalahari communities and individuals throughout Southern Africa. The judges said it was a useful community portal and its focus on a marginalised community makes it stand out.” See: www.kalaharipeoples.net
